The air has finally been cleared about the contract of coach Salisu Yusuf, as officials disclosed that the chief coach will have his contract signed this week in Abuja which will see him earn five million Naira monthly.
The contract was supposed to have been signed before the AFCON qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo this weekend, but top officials were overseas on official duties around that time.
An official annouced that“The NFF president has said he should be in Abuja this week to sign his contract”.
Yusuf will be in charge of the home-based Eagles and also assist Gernot Rohr
Gernot Rohr is on $47,000 a month and he agreed on a two-year contract with the NFF.
Rohr also has three personal assistants to be part of the Eagles backroom staff and they were part of Saturday’s match against Tanzania.
