Enugu Rangers will now be hosted on Friday by the Governor of Enugu State Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, to honour the players and officials of the club for winning the Nigeria Professional Football League.
However, the venue still remains Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu where injured striker Ifeanyi Egwim is being treated.
Rangers spokesman Foster Chime on Monday afternoon that the date for the event has been moved to Friday.
The governor wants the reception to be a holistic one. He wants everybody associated at one time or the other with the club to be part of it,” this was according to Chime.
“Among those expected at the event include former governor of the state Chief Jim Nwobodo.
“It is an event that the governor wants to showcase the fact that the club have done well to win the league after 32 years.
