Super Eagles striker, Odion Jude Ighalo could be on his way out of Vicarage road to Napoli during the winter transfer in January to Napoli in January 2017.
Ighalo’s agent, Patrick Bastianelli explained that there will be massive interest in his client when the next transfer window opens in three months’ time.
The striker was linked with a move away from the club this summer, after reportedly turning down a move to Shanghai SIPG, before signing a new long-term contract with Watford.
The agent said “In January it may be difficult to go away, Watford and the Pozzo family (owners of Watford) have excellent relations with Napoli, but it will be difficult to sell in the winter market.’’
“The last year he has also been wanted by Chelsea and Manchester United, but Watford had not even sat down to deal with then. ‘’
“We’re talking about a guy who is part of the Nigerian national team. In football anything can happen, we’ll see.”
Ighalo has scored 36 goals in the past two years.
