Olarenwaju Kayode scored for the second consecutive game against Roma in the Europa League although his team Austria Wien lost 2-4 at home to the Italian giants.
Kayode scored a late equaliser against Roma in Italy a fortnight ago when both teams clashed in Roma to help his team draw 3-3. He followed it up with a goal two minutes into the reverse tie in Austria.
Although he ended up on the losing side, his goal scoring form cannot be overlooked by the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr who has lamented the quality of the league he plays, but his goals in the Europa League could swing the manager into giving him a chance in the national team.
Already he has nine goals this season with five of them coming in the Europa League.
