The President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has claimed he and his colleagues on the executive committee have lately forfeited their extacode and allowances as a sacrifice for the comfort of the Super Eagles.
The NFF poor finances meant they needed a 100 million Naira bail out last month from the government before they could fly the Super Eagles to Zambia for a World Cup qualifier.
Pinnick has now revealed his board have made personal sacrifices for the Super Eagles to be happy on the road to Russia 2018.
“We have isolated ourselves from any form of financial benefits in terms of allowances and extacode as a sacrifice because we want our team to have the best,” he said.
They were paid a million Naira each for the 1-0 win over Tanzania in an 2017 AFCON qualifier in Uyo in September.
