Super Eagles sensation, Oghenekaro Etebo will not be sold in January transfer window, Portuguese side CD Feirense have said.
They disclosed that the player won’t be sold to any club despite having almost ten offers for the 21 year old Nigerian who shone brilliantly at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
“He is very much in demand, about ten teams have inquired about his availability, but our reply still remains the same, he is not for sale this January,” club coach Jose Mota has said.
He insisted that Etebo, whose value has shot up rafter a commanding performance against Algeria in the World Cup 2018 qualifiers which Nigeria won 3-1 is very vital to the club’s ambitions in the season.
”We are a newly promoted side and we have ambition as well, keeping Etebo is one of our top priority in January. He is so vital to our plans of having a fine season in the top division.”
