Olawale backs Nigeria to win African beach soccer

Former captain of the Super Sand Eagles, Isiaka Olawale, has backed the team to win the Lagos 2016 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations.

Nigeria, who are hosting the competition for the first time, will play in Group A alongside Egypt, Ivory Coast and Ghana. The competition will hold between December 13 and 18 at the Eko Atlantic City.

Nigeria have won the competition twice while Senegal have won it three times.

The Sand Eagles are currently camped in Badagry with 19 players and Olawale is confident that the country Will win the competition with experienced players like Enyimba’s Ikechukwu Ibenegbu and Victor Tale.
