After Chelsea manager Antonio Conte insisted that John Obi Mikel won’t be sold in January, the midfielder who will be out of contract in June and has not played a second for the Blues this season has admitted that he’s in the dark regarding his future at Stamford Bridge.
Mikel said, “I am waiting to be called to play, I will continue working hard to do my best. We will see what will happen in January.”
“I am a professional, I will continue to work hard, hoping to take the field.”
The Nigeria captain has been frozen out since the Italian manager took the reins at Stamford Bridge.
