Manager of Arsenal Football Club, Arsene Wenger said that the fans of the club can make the club stronger in 2017.
The Emirates Stadium crowd – and millions around the world – stayed with the team as we tried to break down a resolute West Bromwich Albion side on Boxing Day, and they were rewarded when Olivier Giroud headed Mesut Ozil’s cross past Ben Foster.

Wenger appreciated the support and is hoping for more of the same in the new year.
“I feel our fans today were very good,” he told Arsenal Player after our Boxing Day win.
“I would like to thank them because it can be frustrating for them as well in a game like that when you don’t manage to score, so [I hope they can] keep that kind of support behind the team for 2017 and this year as well.”
“The team is focused, motivated and united. So if you can add the fans to that, we will be even stronger.”
