Kano Pillars beat Kawo- Kaduna in a friendly game

In preparation of the 2016/17 Nigeria ProfessIonal Football League which is to start on January 14. Kano Pillars defeated Kawo-Kaduna Selected 3-0 in a pre-season friendly on Monday in Kaduna.

The opening goal was scored by newly-signed striker Musa Najere from the penalty spot in the 28th minute, before Kabiru Balogun and Nafiu Bala Kabuga scored the second and third goals in the 60th and 85 minutes.

Kano Pillars will hope to win the NPFL title this year under returning chariman Tukur Babangida and new  coach Kadiri Ikhana.

Pillars have won the NPFL four times, the first time they won it was in 2008.
