El Kanemi Warriors attacking midfielder, Isiaka Olawale has said he wants to be a role model to the youngsters at the new club.
The former Dolphins (Rivers United) goal scorer joined the Maiduguri Warriors mid-term in the immediate past top-flight.
Olawale said his side will maintain their home invincibility that saw the side go 15-match unbeaten in the upcoming league season.
“I’m continuing with El Kanemi Warriors in the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.”
“The key for me right now is to remain focus and work hard to bring out my very best in the side’s top-flight campaign.”
“I want to share my wealth of experience with the younger players in our midst by trying to live by example.”
